People’s experience
Two weeks before our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 8 patients. On the day of our inspection, saw patient feedback from a further 2 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments included, “Lovely friendly practice. I hadn’t been to a dentist for many years due to a fear, but everyone put me at ease the minute I walked through the door.” “Understanding, professional, friendly. I was at ease instantly with people who were nonjudgemental. From reception, the nurses, the main Denture Technician to the dentist - I could not have been treated better.” “Professional analysis of issues related to long standing implant problems followed by costed alternatives. Implemented and have been rock solid for the last year. Very impressed after experiencing a number of other practices over 25 years. Will be my first port of call for all things dental.” Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. “Staff are friendly and the practice is always clean.” Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. “Everyone I have had experience with has explained what they are doing, have listened to my expectations explained next steps.” “…fully discussed all the aspects of the proposed plan for my treatment, and at each stage in the process further discussion took place to ensure that I was comfortable with everything.” Patients said when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given.
The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Evidence, not a league table.
CQC findings and GP Patient Survey results answer different questions and may cover different time periods. Neither confirms current appointment availability, NHS acceptance, opening hours or whether a provider is suitable for you.
Check the provider’s own website and the complete official CQC record before making a decision. If you need urgent medical help, use NHS 111 or call 999 in an emergency.
